Successful business owners set an example. As the owner, you are the "face" of the business. You should be reliable and fulfill your word. Even when things are not so good, a good manager stays positive and remain calm under pressure.
Successful business owners invest in their greatest asset: People. They know the people in their service is cardinal to ensure the business success. Happy employees are positive and far more productive.
A business owner can simply not afford to just sit back. Continual research on marketing and customer needs should be done to ensure you stay on top of things. The owner of a successful business has to function as a businessperson. This means that the owner should always be engaged and stay accountable by paying constant attention to the business.
The customer is King...still one of the most important characteristics of a successful business. Every business depends on someone else's money - whether individuals or other companies - to survive. Thus, you should always try to offer the best possible option for your clients. This means that you sometimes have to go the extra mile and make some sacrifices even if you do not agree with the client.
a Successful company has to give back to the community... This may come in many forms, from fundraising campaigns to the donation of personal time by employees to a worthy cause. To run a successful business is NOT all about making money. A business, no matter how profitable, is never truly successful without a true compassion for others.

TODAY is the day; it’s time to get motivated! Are you living the life that you desire? These following couple of questions is very important to make the first real step in fulfilling your dreams in life.
Did you already set goals to achieve?
Did you make any progress towards receiving them yet?
Do you have the motivation to achieve these goals?
According to research done by the University of Scranton, 92% percent of people that set new years goals never actually achieve them. Why do so many people fail at goal setting, and what are the secrets behind those who succeed?
Successful goal setting boosts self-confidence a lot as it provides you with a measurable way to see how you're doing. When your goal is achieved, you can build further slightly more challenging goals, which in turn when achieved, will lead you to the experience of reinforcement of your confidence and a boost to your self-esteem.
How do you keep focus on long-term goals?
- Have an experiment-driven life. This is about risk, being willing to fail because you're failing forward. The more experiments you make the better.
- Growing an Attitude of wisdom. Be very careful to not develop the so-called competence to think "I know a lot about that” - You are never too old to learn. The pursuit of wisdom is one of the absolute goals of people seeking to live the good life. Particularly, the Scriptures have a lot to teach us about wisdom. Always ponder your life with curiosity and openness and embrace the challenge.
- Do what you love. Success might be waiting around the corner for you. But be careful; do not do something just because you're good at it - that doesn't mean you should do it. Do what you feel passionate about. What are you born to do?" When are you the happiest?
Now it is time to set your specific, long-term goals for the important areas of your life, such as career, family, finances, and so on. Then, look over these goals. How do they make you feel? If you do not feel excited about these goals, take these goals off the list, or revise them so that they move you towards something that really matters to you. Treat your goals like recipes. Remember to take it one step at a time. It is very important to break down a goal into smaller, measurable steps. Write down each step how you would like to work trough the goal to be sure you are clear about what to achieve and how to do it.
Good and healthy mental habits are the cornerstones of achieving personal success. Treating your set goals as very important, giving them attention every day, will soon be a healthy mental habit that becomes part of yourself, without thinking about it.

Last but not least, don't Give Up! Remember that finding motivation isn't always easy, but it is always possible. Be Passionate about your goals, and commit to the end.
We look at ourselves the mirror, and see many ways in which we don’t compare against this belief that we have in our head how we are "suppose" to look. We start to believe that no one can love us because of the way we look, and then become desperate to lose weight, for the wrong reasons. Then we seek out these diets that promise great weight loss in the shortest period, which is not feasible. This is a sick cycle that will go repeating itself over and over - until we make the decision, this is it - Stop. Only after we have taken the decision - for ourselves - we are ready to create a lifestyle that helps us maintain a healthy weight over many years #SelfTalkSecrets
There is a big difference between being selfish, or arrogant, and self-love.
Many people confuse the two and may use it to manipulate you.
Self-love is the most selfless gift you can give yourself - It’s your duty as a child of God to treat yourself with respect and love as your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. "You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So, glorify God in your body." (1 Corinthians 6:19 & 20)
Loving yourself doesn’t make you selfish, instead, self-love means caring about oneself, being confident and taking responsibility for oneself, to embrace oneself, with all of our imperfections, flaws, and rejections. To put it in other words, self-love means to be respecting yourself, knowing who you are, and having high self-esteem. Self-love is the foundation on which everything else is built on, and it should be solid to be able to live a good life where things will fall into place.
Do you often feel that "I am not good enough"? Or do you sometimes feel that no one would notice even if You disappear off the Earth? Are you constantly comparing yourself to others? This will make you feel inadequate and does not do you any good. Don't compare yourself to others. Ever.
you CAN learn to love yourself completely. In fact, it is not even difficult to do. It's just a matter of surrounding yourself with the right people and familiarizing yourself with the right tools, and techniques, to help you master self-love.
In PART 2 we will be moving on, to starting to know the real YOU...
Spending time with those who are wise reaps great benefits. In a similar way, hanging around with fools will bring harm. Read here what the famous Solomon had to say about this truth.
"He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm." Proverbs 13:20
Like it or not, peer pressure is a reality for all of us, at any age. The people we hang with ultimately influence who we become. It is easy to think that as we mature, we move beyond all the silly influence of others, like it was when we were in school.
A closer look at humanity reveals something quite different: no matter the age, the social status, the location... people are drawn to be like one another, to follow each other, and to think as others think.
The writer of Proverbs knew this well. He pleaded with his sons to spend time with wise men, those of high moral character and lifestyle, because he wanted the best for them.
In another sense, theHebrew term walks is used of going on a journey. So when one walks, it is the method he applies to get to his destination. That destination finds its finality at the end of life.
As in most of the Proverbs, Solomon uses a two-part comparison, wherein he takes a principle, illustrates it with a concrete image, and then gives the opposite. This principle of two teaching method emphasizes simplicity - the writer doesn't go on for pages saying the same thing over again or stating it in different ways. His brilliance is evident in his simplicity, his clarity. Here, in stating "the companion of fools will suffer harm" he assures the reader of what happens if you don't walk with the wise. Spending our lives with foolish people will eventually bring damaging results into our lives. And the application to us is clear: it is vital to choose companions who we want to be like.
I once knew a younger businessman who avoided people from his generation. He only spent time with older, successful businessmen. He would golf with them, have drinks with them, take them to lunch. Why? He wanted to be like them. He wanted to develop their mannerisms, habits, and schedules, because those men had made lots of the mistakes the younger guys were inevitably going to make, but had proven their skill in business by their ultimate success. He was walking with the wise men, instead of hanging with the fools.
In a vastly more important sense, we are to do the same with our spiritual comrades. If we want to live with wisdom, it's not going to happen by chillin' with idiots. It happens by spending time - walking - with those who have gone before, experienced the losses and victories life, and come through with genuine wisdom.
There's a journey ahead of us. Let's start now...
