The greatest challenges many of us have to face, is how to be patient. Patience is defined as "the ability to continue doing something despite difficulties, without complaining or becoming annoyed."

Patience makes you happier as it reduces stress levels and you will also feel more in control and be better at decision-making. All of these characteristics will enhance your self control.
Tips on growing patience:
•Make to be patient your goal for an entire day. Be mindful and put in effort to think properly before deciding.
•Slow down and relax. Do not get upset by long queues or slow traffic.
•You can choose how you react in a situation. Make the choice to be patient.
•Pinpoint the triggers that makes you impatient. Know of it. Put you in the other person's shoes.
•Do not solely focus on the results, you should enjoy the journey too and have fun.
•Second think everything before you speak or do anything. Practice gratification.
•Listen patiently to other people and take time to plan your response.
•Recognize that there always will be things out of your control. Do not waste energy on those.
The more you try to be patient, the easier it will be as patience is a muscle you develop.
