When Your Problem Feels Like Mt Everest Author: Gary Sinclair Most of us have never seen the Himalayas, climbed in the Andes or stood next to Switzerland’s Matterhorn. But a majority of individuals and families have faced disaster, tragedy, debilitating illness, an accident or other trial, some personal mountain that at one point seemed insurmountable. People of course respond in a variety of ways. Some are immediately overwhelmed and give up. Rather than even start the climb, they give way to depression and despair uninterested in the help of friends, professionals or fellow-strugglers. Others panic. They want to overcome but don’t know where to begin so they run from person to person, idea to idea, without a plan making little headway towards the summit.
A third group gets angry. They spew their rage at life, God, friends, family or all of the above, furious that life has taken this precipitous turn. While each of these responses is somewhat extreme, they are normal. They are emotions that erupt when we face a mountain that scares us because we don’t believe we have the resources to conquer it.
My wife Jackie and I encountered a Denali over a decade ago now when it was discovered she had stage three colon/rectal cancer. There was a tumor growing inside her and the devilish cancer cells had begun to spread. Ironically, she and I had climbed her first fourteen-thousand-foot peak in Colorado just three months before. We now had a new mountain to climb. It took some weeks for us to figure it out, but we finally realized that we must climb her cancer mountain the same way we ascended those of granite. While climbs and climbers are unique, there remain principles that undergird any successful summit bid. We now had a new mountain to climb. It took some weeks for us to figure it out, but we finally realized that we must climb her cancer mountain the same way we ascended those of granite. The same is true with personal mountains
The same is true with personal mountains.
Let me discuss three of the key principles as they impacted our Mt. Cancer. One, never climb alone. Most every experienced mountaineer will tell you that you are foolish to in high altitude by yourself. People do it, yes, but many of them die, some needlessly. During Jackie’s illness, we knew we must invite others to walk this trail with us, some being people who had faced a similar journey to ours. Others simply wanted to be there with us. Two, climb one part of the trail at a time. Get through the next switchback before worrying about the next one. On a mountain trail, we would give each other candy once we reached the place on the mountain where we reached our next waypoint. In the same way, as we started her cancer journey, we focused on the next doctor visit, the chemo, surgery or radiation treatment rather than think about what might be down the road.
No, we couldn’t perfectly excise from our minds the possible future implications, but we became pretty good at keeping them at arm’s length until later. The mountain didn’t disappear but we could face it more and without unnecessary, unhelpful distractions
Three, be honest about your mountain. Some natural mountains have more snow and ice than others; some are steeper; some have false summits. In the same way our personal trails will vary from those others hike. We must face the difficulty of our mountain and not look the other way or try to make it seem easier than it is.
|
People who get cocky in the mountains often die there. People who don’t follow the basic rules may never make it down. That’s what happened in 1996 on the tragic Everest climb when sixteen died. As climber extraordinaire, Ed Viesturs, says, reaching the summit if only half the climb.
Thankfully, Jackie is cancer-free today and still hiking. We believe that at least part of her success and health today is due to utilizing high country practices and principles. The mountains have more to teach us and others. I’ve written more about his in my new book Never Quit Climbing as well. |

“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.” - Rumi
Johanna, a college student from Kuala Lumpur, had been struggling to finish her studies. She was living in a dorm with other students, and had trouble making ends meet. Johanna was on a scholarship which meant she needed to keep her grades high while working part-time to support her living expenses. Strapped for time and resources, she barely got by and started feeling burnt out. If Johanna wasn't hitting the books, she was working.
Everything started to become a blur and she was losing motivation to keep going.
It got so bad that Johanna even thought about telling her parents she couldn't do it anymore and drop out from college. But then a classmate from her philosophy class introduced her to the Law of Attraction. Jacques, a foreign exchange student from Canada, had been reading up on it and applied it in his own life. According to him, it had helped him manifest a solution to his own problems.
He had lived in an abusive home growing up, and Jacques leaned how to shift his thinking and perspective to change his circumstances. Johanna wasn't sure at first what to make of it, but she took Jacques word for it and started applying its principles in her own life. After she made a shift in her own mindset and attitude, Johanna started to experience some positive changes.
She eventually quit her part-time job and found another one with better pay and hours which helped with her living expenses. It also helped free up her time, so she managed to study AND start a side income project selling items online. Johanna ended up growing her side business so much that she got Jacques to help her manage it. By the end of the academic year, she had turned into a completely different person.
Johanna was no longer the depressed, burned out student from before. She had become a self-sufficient student and even made the dean's list!
The Power of Changing Your Focus
Like Johanna, we fall into a FIXED mindset where we think things will stay the same and we can't do anything about it. But the only way to break out of this negative spiral is by changing your INNER world. This is the key to influencing your external world so you can move forward in life.
In a nutshell, the Law of Attraction is a way of living that requires you to change your frequency. When you do this, the Universe will pick up your signal and your life will change for the better. As for the frequency I mentioned, this is basically the vibration of energy that your mind gives off.
You can either operate at a high or low vibration, and each type will give you a specific result. Most people don't realize they're giving off low frequency energy, which is actually making their situation worse.
The main problem is when you attach your emotions to your external circumstances.
For instance, it's easy to feel bad when you're broke. And naturally, it's just as easy feel the opposite if you had money in the bank.
Similarly, seeing other people in a happy, romantic relationship will make you bitter and angry if you're single.
And so on…
I'm not saying it's wrong to feel bad about things like that. However, you shouldn't use your circumstances (and how you FEEL about them) as an excuse to STOP trying.
People fail to realize that NOT doing anything about their situation will only make them feel WORSE. And this further traps them in a vicious cycle of negativity and inaction.
Thus, the Law of Attraction will help you install a more positive attitude in your consciousness.
This keeps your mind from being overrun by negativity - and more importantly, give you the leverage to BREAK FREE from your situation.
With some practice, your thoughts and actions will effortlessly work together to attract positive circumstances in your life.
But where should you start? Here are some ways to put the Law of Attraction into action and start creating massive changes:
#1: Share Your Gifts to the World
The Bible talks about the power of giving, and how it outweighs the benefits of getting.
But no matter what your faith or beliefs are, it helps to think of generosity on a LARGER SCALE.
Giving is more than just a virtue - it's a type of cosmic currency.
When you perform acts of kindness or share your resources for no other reason than WANTING TO, you're putting this currency into circulation.
And soon enough, this positive energy you send into the world will find its way back to you.
You won't get it in the same form, but it will come around, one way or another.
I know that sometimes, giving feels like the LAST thing you want to do - especially when your own life is lacking in some capacity.
Why bother extending yourself when you've got enough to worry about for yourself?
But that's exactly the point.
Giving - even when you THINK you can't - will prove that this is a FALSE perception.
Let your acts of generosity serve as a reminder to everyone that in spite of everything, life IS and will ALWAYS be abundant.
Trust in the infinite energy of the Universe and tune into its unique frequency.
Your selflessness is the key to that. A generous attitude raises the quality of the vibrations you send out into the world.
Escaping the scarcity mindset and the fear of not having enough is one of the most liberating things you can do.
By doing so, you're FREE to improve the lives of others - and yours in the process.
#2: Stop hanging out with losers
I don't mean to sound judgmental, but there are people in your life that will try to drag you down, whether they're aware of it or not.
You should avoid them at all costs.
People in a bad situation will try to feel better about themselves by spreading their toxic way of thinking to others.
They pull others down with their hurtful words, or convince them that they're not good enough.
Instead of doing something about their own situation, it's easier to go down this dark path and take everyone else with them.
And the Law of Attraction states that when you focus on something, the Universe will feed you more of the SAME.
So the good news is that you can choose to avoid this downward spiral and get on another path instead.
This is why you need to be careful about the company you keep. Choose the people that can share their constructive energy with you.
If their attitude, mindset and words lift you up, you know you're in the right place.
Their energy is contagious, and you'll naturally raise your own frequency and attract only good things in your life.
As for toxic people, I know there are times when you simply can't avoid them.
They could be family, friends, or co-workers - and you might be even living with some of them.
It's a challenge for sure, but do your best not to let their negative energy get to you.
You don't have to butt heads with them and simply respond with positivity.
If you're in a conversation with them, try to frame it in a healthy, positive way so you don't get sucked into their toxic field of gravity.
You don't have to change their mind; just take the “agree to disagree” route and leave it at that.
Who knows, your own energy might “rub off” on their consciousness. They might even think about what you told them and re-evaluate their own perspective.
#3: Get out from under the grind
We all have our lives to lead, and that means falling into a routine.
Now, don't get me wrong - having structure in your life is important and even necessary.
At a basic level, we need it to function on a daily basis. Incorporating helpful habits into your everyday routine is a GOOD thing.
However, there is a danger in being TOO embedded in it and shutting yourself off to trying NEW things.
Sticking too closely to your routine could make you afraid of the unfamiliar and uncomfortable - and hinder your GROWTH in the process.
So if you want to attract new and exciting things into your life, you should carve out some room for that.
Doing things that help you grow ALWAYS has a place in a well-balanced life. A stable, healthy routine is the best way to avoid a soul-crushing existence.
What are the things that inspire you?
Outside of your usual chores and duties, what gives you a sense of fulfillment - even if it doesn't pay the bills?
People usually shoot down any desire for this because they're afraid they “don't have enough time.”
But you'll see just how flimsy that excuse is once you actually take the plunge and spend that time you didn't think you had.
In as little as half an hour, you could engage in a fulfilling pursuit. Find (or rekindle) a hobby, take up an online course or watch free videos.
Let it energize your senses, inspire you to greatness and empower you to create something wonderful in this world.
More than that, you can acquire knowledge to advance you in some way, like learning a skill, for example.
I recently came across a post on Twitter that made me smile.
It said: “There's too much free information online for y'all not be crushin it in whatever field.”
Use your precious time to invest in a better you and express yourself through your passions.
Don't worry about the “if”s and “how”s. Just get started with something now, and the rest of your life will adjust to it.
You won't know what new avenues will open up UNTIL you get the ball rolling,
#4: Quiet your mind
Meditation is one habit that goes very well with practicing the Law of Attraction.
When you learn how to control your thoughts (instead of the other way around), you're in the best position to manifest the things you want.
A lot of people find it challenging to keep their thoughts above water when they're flooded with negative emotions.
With meditation, you can take a step back and remove yourself from a situation in a healthy way.
There are books, free content online and mobile apps that can help you with this.
For instance, I just tried out the Insight app on my phone which is kind of like the YouTube equivalent for meditation.
You can search by a specific person or channel, or even topics like easing anxiety, anger management, and so on.
This is a low-maintenance habit which will only take about 10-15 minutes daily. You could even spend five minutes if you're really strapped for time!
This basically works by sitting down on the floor (or a chair) and closing your eyes.
The idea is to take slow, measured breaths and pay attention to the physical sensations you're feeling at the moment.
Are your muscles tense? Is your heart beating quickly from the stress you're currently experiencing?
These are some of the things to be mindful of as you breathe in and out. If any other thoughts enter your mind, don't resist it.
Don't chase after them and just let it pass. Then you can go back to focusing on the rhythm of your breath.
Take this time to focus on the feelings of love, health, success and prosperity.
In other words, the things you want to ATTRACT.
Concentrate your attention on inhaling and exhaling. Once you've calmed your mind enough, you're ready visualize the things you want to manifest in life.
This will have a powerful effect on your subconscious and put you on the path towards your goals.
And that brings us to the last life-changing habit…
#5: Affirmations
Muhammad Ali, one of the greatest boxers in history, was known for saying, “What you're thinking is what you're becoming.”
Indeed.
That attitude helped him become what he was, and it will serve you well, too.
Most of the time, people don't pay attention to the kind of thoughts they hold in their heads.
Left unchecked, they often feed into a toxic narrative they have about themselves without realizing it.
Like I said earlier, what you put in your subconscious affects you.
The things you tell yourself are like seeds you plant in your mind and they'll grow over time. Those same thoughts will express themselves in your actions and the choices you make.
So, you need to be careful which seeds you plant.
Joseph Murphy, author of the book, “The Power of the Subconscious Mind”, tells us that this part of your mind can't distinguish which thoughts are real or imagined.
As far as it's concerned, your subconscious will treat it as FACT whether it's happening in the physical world or NOT.
Thus, people don't just operate on these subconscious beliefs. Without being aware of it, they're turning their thoughts into reality.
And it WILL happen - one way or another.
The perception you have about yourself is largely influenced by the people you had around while growing up.
Their input - whether good or bad - left a mark on your subconscious that's hard to shake off.
And this programming kicks in whenever you make decisions and it dictates how you respond to tough times.
This inner dialogue can act as your inner voice of confidence and self-assurance…
…or as in most people's cases, it's the voice of fear and self-doubt.
You might think you're not good enough or smart enough because you couldn't stop the bad things from happening.
You curse yourself for messing things up, then blame it on some pre-assigned character defect.
Usually, it's in the form of labels like “Loser”, “Hopeless Case”, “Slacker”, “Weirdo” and so on.
But remember, these labels only have as much power over as you ALLOW it.
You can apply the Law of Attraction to change this inner chatter and rewire your mind for success instead.
It's impossible to attract wealth, abundance and happiness if you're focused on putting yourself down.
You can do the opposite by using encouraging statements that will empower you to take action.
When you improve the quality of your thoughts, it's as if your circumstances will rearrange itself on their own.
These changes will seem to happen without doing much on your part. But the truth is that you're already doing the heavy lifting by disciplining your mind.
Starting today, you can apply these five tips I've just shared with you to create ripples of change in your life.
The more you practice them, the bigger waves will result from your efforts. I hope you make use of this knowledge and empower yourself for greatness.
Before I go, there's ONE MORE gift I'd like to share with you…
It's called the Manifestation Breakthrough Kit, and for a limited time I'm offering it totally FREE of charge.
You can combine this kit with the tips you just learned to get even BETTER results.
Your alarm clock goes off for the nth time this morning. Snooze button abused.
By Dan Sincavage from www.tenfold.com
late for work — so you miss breakfast and grab a coffee on the way – which, of course, you spill on your suit.
Arrive at the office, sit down and start calling customers who just aren’t too enthusiastic about your company’s offer. You try your best to strike up new leads, do everything you can to keep the sale on the line, and then all of a sudden, the client decides to go to your biggest competitor instead. You keep on going, mindful of the weekly, monthly and yearly quotas that you need to meet to keep your family well-provided for.
If you’re a sales professional, chances are you’ve experienced this scenario at least once in your career. While salespeople are often expected to be lively and energetic at all times, the long hours, the growing list of responsibilities and the pressure to meet quotas can all add up and take its toll.
In fact, sales professionals are considered by some experts as highly overworked.
“As technology automates much of the function, there is simply no need for a human interface,” said Roy, a career coach and author of The Wall Street Professional’s Survival Guide. “Since the products are now not much more than commodities, sales people are seeing shrinking spreads and fewer opportunities to generate rich commissions.”
More stress= less sales?
But did you know that apart from its ill-effects on your personal health, stress also has economic consequences? An article released by the Farleigh Dickinson University shows that “workplace stress costs U.S. employers an estimated $200 billion per year in absenteeism, lower productivity, staff turnover, workers’ compensation, medical insurance and other stress-related expenses.”
In particular, skyrocketing stress levels have detrimental effects on a company’s sales force. According to The Oxford Handbook of Strategic Sales and Sales Management, sales reps who experience stress on a regular basis “tend to be less involved in their jobs, less committed to the organization, and to experience lower levels of work and life satisfaction. These salespeople do not perform as well and are more likely to leave the organization.”
In short, high-stress levels among your sales team can lead to unmet targets and decreasing sales figures, which can trigger even more stress. Before you know it, you’ll have a burned out sales force and a company on the verge of collapse. It’s a vicious cycle—and decisive steps need to be taken to stop it.
Here are some proven stress-busting techniques for salespeople:
Stress often stems from feeling out of control—you become anxious or afraid because it seems as if you cannot control the situation or its outcomes. As such, the first step to beating stress comes from recognizing that you do have control—you can control how you respond to a problem.
Stress management experts from the Mayo Clinic suggest the 4A’s approach in dealing with stress, wherein you can choose to alter, avoid, accept, or adapt to any given situation.
Alter: Sometimes changing the situation is the most promising strategy. Let’s say you are always stressed when you are going to be late for a meeting. Change the situation by setting an alarm so you will leave five or ten minutes earlier, depending on the traffic. Your stress levels will most likely decrease once you’ve had ample time to prepare for your meeting, and are confident that you’ll arrive early enough to make a good impression.
Avoid: Believe it or not, sometimes avoiding a potentially stressful situation altogether is the way to go. For example, you might have a persistent caller who repeatedly calls to ask for unreasonable discounts or complains about the company’s services despite your previous attempts to resolve the issue. Avoid the situation by learning how to say no.
You might say “I understand how you feel, but I will not [or cannot] provide you with a 70% discount off your monthly subscription rates.” Take note however, that avoiding the situation is only valid if there are no or limited repercussions to you and to the company.
Accept: There are things, like taxes, that we simply cannot alter or avoid. This is where the art of graceful acceptance needs to come in. For example, you need to accept that despite all of your efforts, there are always going to be leads that reject your offer or that there are always going to be clients who are fickle and extremely difficult to deal with. Learning to accept these as a part of your job makes it easier for you to anticipate and handle stressful situations.
Adapt: Wayne Dwyer once said “the activity of worrying keeps you immobilized”. Learn how to adapt to the situation by looking at the bigger picture. For instance, you might be worried about a particular caller that you had difficulty handling. Stop and ask yourself, will this matter to me in a month? What about a year? If the answer is no, and as long as you try your best to improve your call-handling skills, stop worrying
2. Be flexible.
Good salespeople are resilient, in the sense that they are able to handle stressful situations, look for a silver lining and turn their mistakes into learning opportunities. One key aspect of developing resilience is by learning how to be more flexible—developing your ability to take a stressful situation and use it to your advantage.
Let’s say that after years of working on the day shift, your supervisor has suddenly decided to move you to the graveyard shift. Instead of resisting the change, look for positive aspects (you’ll be able to set daytime appointments, you won’t have to deal with rush hour traffic, you’ll most likely receive additional compensation), and make appropriate arrangements (look for a nearer place to stay, connect with others who are on the same shift, etc.) that will help you make the transition easier.
3. Live well.Your overall physical well-being plays a huge role in determining your capacity to beat workplace stress. Basically, eating healthy food, getting enough sleep and taking the time to exercise can go a long way to making you feel refreshed and invigorated. Some tips to living healthy include:
- Stretch your muscles when you feel tired; use your chair or desk as a prop.
- Walk to the cafeteria instead of getting food delivered during lunch hour.
- Limit your coffee intake to two cups a day.
- Get enough sleep, 8 hours a day is ideal. Listen to soothing sounds or use blinds to help you fall asleep when you need to.
If you’re having trouble sticking to your exercise goals, find a buddy who can join and motivate you.
4. Make it a team effort.
Busting stress in the workforce can only be successful if it’s done by the entire team. Cultivating a sense of camaraderie and cooperation among your sales reps can help in making them feel more relaxed and capable in handling stressful situations. For example, after a conversation with a difficult client, you might want to take a break and talk with some friendly colleagues. Having a consistent support group can help you gain perspective and reassurance and will lessen your stress levels.
5. Get organized.
Chaos in your physical space can contribute to your stress. Some of the things you can do to make your workspace more productive and less stressful include:
- Keeping your desk organized. Use file folders, baskets, or containers – whatever you need to do to keep things neat. It can also be helpful to group like items together.
- Clearing up clutter on your computer. Make sure your electronic files mirror your hard copies, and that you have a way of keeping things organized. Don’t just throw everything onto the desktop or into My Documents. Use tools to manage your email.
- Using to-do lists. Have a notebook or a document where you can list all of your tasks for the day and tick off those that you’ve accomplished. This will help you prioritize tasks and make you feel more productive at the end of the day.
6. Learn to relax.
The simplest way to kick out stress is by learning to sit back and relax. You don’t have to go on a three-week vacation to do this, there are some simple ways by which you can loosen up and unwind, even while sitting at your desk. Some of them include:
- Breathing exercises. One of the most effective ways to eliminate stress is by regulating your breathing via the 4×4 breathing exercise. This involves closing your eyes and sitting up straight while keeping both feet firmly on the floor. Inhale through your nose for four counts; hold your breath for four counts, exhale through your mouth for four counts, then wait for four seconds. Afterward, repeat the entire process for four times. According to psychologist Judith Tutin, “Deep breathing works by slowing the heart rate and lowering blood pressure.”
- Listening to music. Music has the power to soothe or to give us energy. Find a type of music that relaxes you and play it when you need to calm down. When you fell tired and listless, play some upbeat tunes, instead of drinking coffee, to give you a pick-up.
- Simple massage techniques. Holding a fingertip to the point of most pain or tension and pressing very hard into the offending muscle for up to a minute can avert a headache or relieve tension. You can also use aromatherapy oils to help relieve headaches and calm you down.
7. Take time off.A vacation represents a time of well-deserved rest. Make the most out of this by unplugging yourself from social media or other electronic devices that can remind you of workplace stress.
Taking the time off to do things that you enjoy (be it cooking, playing sports, fishing, or simply enjoying a glass of wine in your living room), spending time with people who invigorate and inspire you (mentors, family and friends), or just being by yourself, can go a long way towards providing you relief and helping you win the war over stress.

“What you seek is seeking you.” - Rumi
If I told you that you could create the exact type of circumstances you want, would you call me crazy?
What if your very thoughts could create ripples of change that not only impact your life…
…but those around you as well?
Philip, a call center worker from the Philippines certainly didn't think so. He dreamed of moving overseas so he could secure a better life and provide for his family.
But at every turn, his own mind shut down every opportunity he thought of.
For instance, Philip considered seeing an immigration consultant, but he either “didn't have the time” or “couldn't afford it”.
So, he resented his situation and cursed himself (and the world) for his “bad luck”.
He didn't realize that the real culprit was his mindset - not his circumstances.
And it seemed like the more he ruminated, the more bad things happened.
Thus, he kept feeding the cycle of being stuck in a rut and feeling bad, trapping him even more.
That was, until his aunt Sara introduced him to the Law of Attraction.
Turning the tide
She had her own share of struggles finding greener pastures abroad, but she applied the principles from the Law of Attraction to overcome them.
So she sent a few books on the topic to Philip through Amazon so he could gain the clarity to turn his life around.
Click Here To Discover the Lazy Person's Secret To Get Everything You've Ever Wished For
At first, Philip didn't really think much of it, but he decided to read through the books since his aunt went through the trouble of sending it over.
After he started applying the lessons he learned from the material, things started to change for him.
It came as a complete shock to Philip - he never thought in a million years that making a simple shift in his thinking could have such a direct and POWERFUL impact in his life.
And soon enough, the fog of negativity and despair around Philip lifted and he found a way to make his dreams happen.
Through his persistence, he was eventually able to borrow the money he needed for the consultation fees, and learned the step-by-step process to get work overseas.
Philip was finally able to find a fulfilling and rewarding career in Australia. Not only does he get to support his family back home, he also made friends and enjoys his new life abroad.
Just a few months ago, Philip's parents started their own business, thanks to his help.
At the rate they're going, his family could save enough so they can pass on their business to another relative and follow Philip to Australia. ould wait for Philip to take the offer so they can move there instead.
Whatever option Philip chooses, the possibilities for him are almost limitless.
But he's just one of thousands who made the Law of Attraction to work for him. Like Philip, a lot of people are initially discouraged to try because they think it takes a lot of work.
But the reality is that it's surprisingly easy to get started. You just need to follow these 10 Super Simple Steps to Attract Everything You've Ever Wanted:
Step #1: A little gratitude goes a long way
The first thing you should learn about the Law of Attraction is that it operates on energy.
YOUR energy, to be exact.
Everyone has a different kind of energy they bring into the world, and it affects them in ways they often don't see or appreciate.
The secret lies in the FREQUENCY of a person's energy - and you need to raise yours in order to change your life.
Think of your unique energy as a sort of gas that fills the space of your reality. Whatever “gas” or “energy” you pump out into your immediate space will define your existence.
Viktor Frankl, a psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor, said this in his book, “Man's Search for Meaning”:
“To draw an analogy: a man's suffering is similar to the behavior of a gas. If a certain quantity of gas is pumped into an empty chamber, it will fill the chamber completely and evenly, no matter how big the chamber. Thus suffering completely fills the human soul and conscious mind, no matter whether the suffering is great or little. Therefore the "size" of human suffering is absolutely relative.”
So if you want to invite great things into your life, you need to set the stage first. And you can do that by leading with the right energy.
That's why being grateful and appreciating what you have is powerful way to recalibrate your frequency.
Most folks hold off on feeling this way for AFTER they get what they want. But that's putting the cart before the horse, as the saying goes.
When you LEAD with gratitude, it will act as the precedent for everything good that follows.

What I like to do is start of my day by making a list of things that I'm grateful for. If I miss anything, I save it for later and update my list at the end of my day.
And when I go over my list during the weekend, I'll see exactly how much good stuff I've accumulated.
This creates a kind of snowball effect and helps me attract even MORE good stuff down the road.
Step #2: Be generous
This can be a challenge for some people if they feel like there isn't enough to go around.
But if you take the initiative to SHARE whatever you can without asking anything in return…
… you'll generate the kind of energy that attracts prosperity for everyone…
…including YOU.
Again, this is the Law of Attraction at work.
Try offering your time, talents and material wealth to those who need it - you'll soon invite blessings without even trying.
Step #3: Visualize your future
What I find amazing about kids is how powerful their imaginations are.
When they role-play with other children, you can see in their eyes how REAL their games are to them.
This is something that's lost on grown-ups, and it's important to recapture that ability to envision the kind of reality you want.
The Universe likes to play games with us- the better you are at visualizing, the more you'll be rewarded.
Like I said, a certain type of energy attracts a certain kind of reality.
So if you focus your energy and thoughts on that dream job you want or the car you've always wanted to drive, you'll raise your frequency to ATTRACT those exact things.
Step #4: Let the negativity pass
When the bad times roll in and you feel like dirt, sometimes it's better to step aside and let it run its course.
Having negative thoughts and emotions are totally normal, but you don't always have to wrestle with them.
You can simply acknowledge what's going on in your inner world - then CHOOSE to keep moving forward anyway.
Let this negative energy pass through your system like bad case of gas. The sooner you let it do its thing, the quicker you can get back to what you were doing.
(Sorry for the fart analogy, but it get the point across, doesn't it?)
Step #5: Never stop growing
It's good to have a daily routine in your life, but not at the expense of your personal development.
Most people are so set in their ways that they're afraid of the thought of doing something new.
Then they complain about their humdrum lives, or that some folks “have all the luck.”
Breaking out of your comfort zone is never an easy thing, but it's a step worth taking.
No matter how loaded your schedule is, find some chunks of time to do things that will help you grow.
Whether it's taking an online course, joining a community, or taking up a hobby, this is a powerful way to attract new and exciting things in your life.
Step #6: Avoid the “toxic” crowd
There are people who seem hell-bent on pulling others into their world of misery.
Whether they're trying to lessen their own pain or simply enjoy doing it, you need to steer clear of them.
Instead, choose people who will have the opposite effect on your psyche. Not only does a person's energy attract circumstances, it's also CONTAGIOUS.
So make sure you hang out with the people who'll inspire you to achieve greater things - and not bring you down with apathy or inaction.

Step #7: Give yourself permission to succeed
Most of the world's most brilliant people were put down in some way.
Somewhere along the way, someone told them they'd “never make it” or were “destined to fail.”
In your own life, certain people have tried to discourage you in some way.
They might have tried putting you down when you were growing up - or it could have been last week.
It doesn't matter.
What's important is that you understand that NO ONE can put labels on you.
And more importantly, they can NEVER give you permission to achieve what you want in life. You need to do that for yourself.
Don't let their words define your “story”. You don't have to fit whatever petty narrative they're trying to force on you.
Step #8: Affirm who you are
Instead of feeding into the lies that people tell you, let this be the day to start living your truth.
Create statements that embody the truth you choose to be, AND to live in.
People do this all the time.
When Elon Musk tried to launch the world's first privately owned rocket and failed, he told himself, “I'm going to try again, and I WILL get that thing into orbit.” (Well, maybe not exactly like that, but you get the point.)
And so his company SpaceX went back to the drawing board and got it right after the third attempt.
Elon affirmed his truth and it manifested into reality. In the same way, you can choose to affirm whatever truth applies to you.
Be honest with yourself and acknowledge the things that TRULY matter to you.
You know it, and the Universe knows it.
The key is to repeat it yourself every day. For example, if you know deep in your heart that you want to make a better life for yourself, you can say something like this:
“I may be struggling right now, but I know deep inside that I have what it takes to improve my life. I see myself transforming into a happier, wealthier person who makes other people's lives brighter.”
When you operate from even the tiniest shred of truth, you can grow that into a powerful force over time.
Step #9: Fail spectacularly
Here's something most people don't know about the Law of Attraction: before you can enjoy success and find true happiness, you need to crash and burn.
It's better to go after what you want and risking failure rather than playing it safe and not trying at all.
To create order in your life, you'll have to embrace the chaos that comes before it.
This is where you'll find the real lessons, even if they hurt a little.
(Or in some cases, a LOT).
Think of yourself as the beautiful Phoenix, like in the legends.
Imagine burning off bits and pieces of yourself that you don't need. As you rise from the ashes, you're reborn into a NEW YOU.
That's evolution. It may be an imperfect and unpleasant process, but the results are worth it.
Step #10: Remove your BIGGEST barrier to success
People don't realize that their greatest roadblock is none other than their own mindset.
They may say they want something to happen, but don't REALLY mean it.
For instance, someone might want to lose weight, but they don't want it bad enough.
Worse, they might not actually believe they can shed those pounds. A part of them refuses to acknowledge the faintest possibility of it happening.
This is pretty much why people NEVER attract the things they want in life.
In order to remove this barrier, you'll need to change something inside you.
You need to dig deep and understand WHY you don't want it as much as you say you do.
Are you scared of suffering through the process of getting what you want?
This is what turns most people off - they simply can't process the discomfort involved with growing up.
At the same time, you need to deal with the reasons why you think that your desired reality is impossible.
It could be some deep-seated beliefs brought about by past events, or experiences growing up.
Once you sort this out, you'll be free to do what you want without any pre-programmed beliefs holding you back.
Now, these ten steps we just talked about will get your foot in the door. Once you start doing them regularly, you'll experience remarkable breakthroughs you didn't think were possible.
But if you want to witness even MORE changes on a massive (or even cosmic) scale, you need to check out my FULLcourse called Manifestation Miracle.
Like the name suggests, I enjoyed nothing short of a life-changing revolution not too long ago.
In a lot of ways, my situation was the same as Philip's. I worked myself to the bone and felt unfulfilled.
I was trapped in my soul-crushing career. Even though I needed the money, I HATED having to put up a hollow appearance of a happy, successful businesswoman.
But then I discovered how turn my mind into a magnet for prosperity and abundance…

Charlie, a stay at home dad, works out of his living room while looking after his three-year-old toddler. As a social media consultant, he depends on his laptop to make a living.
The problem is that his beat up computer was as old as his kid, and it was always glitching on him.
So Charlie kept focusing on getting a new computer – a 13-inch Macbook Pro in particular.
Eventually, his old laptop gave out, which made him panic a bit. So Charlie went online to look for another one while having the shiny new Macbook in the back of his mind.
After hours of searching, he couldn’t find a reasonably priced model. So he was about to settle on another type of laptop and was close to closing the sale.
But at the last minute, Charlie decided to check the price listings for a used version of the computer that he REALLY wanted.
And just like that, someone was selling a six-month old Macbook Pro for a price significantly cheaper than a store-bought one.
So Charlie got what he wanted, and at a better deal than he had hoped for!
Now, Charlie’s incredible stroke of luck seemed like a fluke to him at first, but then another awesome thing happened shortly after.
You see, Charlie was also looking for a new job because he felt stuck in his current one. So he had his sights set on another company with a position in mind.
The truth was that he wasn’t all that confident he was even qualified for the position, but he went over the job description again and again.
Charlie even printed the job ad and put it on his refrigerator door so he could see it every day.
A couple of weeks after his interview, he got a call from the company and said he got the job.
On Charlie’s first day, his new boss told him, “Honestly, your skillset isn’t an exact match for what we were looking for.
But I really liked how you did at the interview…and besides, we can train you for the other things you need to learn, anyway.
You have a great attitude and that’s more important than being 100% qualified for the job.”

Is It Coincidence - Or Something Else at Work?
After all, the common element between getting his new laptop and the new job was that he focused on both things intensely.
Charlie kept it in his thoughts all the time. More than that, he created a detailed picture of his desired state in his mind.
He imagined what it would be like to hold his new laptop and how he’d feel working in the new job he was aiming for.
Charlie visualized both scenarios so vividly that he could almost taste it.
Whether he knew it or not, he was putting the basic principle of The Law of Attraction to work - and it served him well.
As the name implies, this law decrees that “like attracts like.”
There’s a global movement behind this belief, and it says that the kind of thoughts you send out to the Universe emit a certain frequency – be it helpful or harmful.
And you have the power to control the wavelength you operate on, which in turn attracts circumstances that match your energy.
So by focusing on positive outcomes and giving out positive vibrations, you can turn your thoughts into a tangible force of good in your life!
On the other side of the coin, dwelling on the negative aspects of life and focusing your attention on the things you resent attracts even MORE negativity into your world.
Like Charlie, you can think of something specific you want, and hold that image in your mind.
Create all the details that bring the picture to life, then believe that you already have it.
When you go about your day thinking that the object of your desire is already a matter of fact…
…this sends out a clear, strong message to the Universe that you truly WANT and BELIEVE it.
But this is just the tip of the iceberg; there are other ways to raise your frequency even higher.
By following these 7 Tips One Can Create the Life You’ve Always Dreamed Of, you’ll naturally attract everything you’ve ever wanted – and MORE:
#1: Set aside time to focus on what you desire
The first habit is simple enough: give yourself at least 5-7 minutes daily to visualize the things you want to turn into reality.
You can do this by finding a quiet place to contemplate, then sit upright with your eyes closed. While keeping your desires front and center in your thoughts, breathe deeply in and out.
Focus on your breath and the sensations your body is feeling, and use that as anchor to keep your thoughts from straying.
If your mind does go on a tangent, gently bring yourself back to your breathing AND your desired future state.
You’ll get a lot of benefits from doing this for just a few minutes every day. For instance, many studies have proven the stress-reducing properties of meditation.
A study at the Massachusetts General Hospital showed that people who tried their meditation program experienced significantly less health problems than before.
They ended up not having to see a doctor or go to the emergency room, saving them about $2,300 in medical costs for EACH person!
On top of that of course, meditation also helps you keep your eye on the prize and give you the determination to make it happen.
Some people however, have trouble meditating and get easily distracted.
If you need a little guidance with this habit, I’ve got a special gift for you – but more on that later…
#2: Be grateful and practice gratitude
Ever hear the expression “Thank your lucky stars”?
Back in ancient times, people believed that celestial bodies played a huge role in someone’s destiny.
Today, many still believe that these same external forces affect our lives.
The Law of Attraction draws from this belief, and it states that we should be gratefull whenever the Universe sends something good our way.
This is another way of fine tuning your frequency. When you actively pay attention to the positive things that happen around you, it acts like a magnet that attracts similar things.
And by being thankful for your blessings, you’re sending a powerful message to the Universe that essentially translates to:
“Thank you, that was awesome! More please!”
#3: Take a leap of faith
The main challenge that people have with manifesting their desires is dealing with the world of the intangible.
It can be daunting (and even discouraging) to imagine a future outcome that hasn’t happened yet.
It takes some faith to push past that hazy uncertainty, and not everyone has it in them to do so.
So you need to check your inner Doubting Thomas at the door for a moment and appreciate how other people have used the Law of Attraction to succeed.
Consider the great figures from the past: Albert Einstein, Nelson Mandela, Marie Curie, Vincent Van Gogh and Nikola Tesla.
All of them were shining examples of how they used their mind and willpower to create something valuable in this world.
They raised their own frequency and as result, had a different energy from the rest of humanity.
Even though they’re gone, their legacy lives on, and we can still feel its impact today.
It’s all because they took a brave step into the unknown.
Even though they couldn’t see how their work would ripple through the next several decades, they still powered through.
The skepticism that people have is the result of growing up.
As you get older and have more experiences, a certain amount of jadedness sets in.
That’s why you won’t find any of that in kids. Just think about how children play make-believe.
When they yell, “The floor is lava!” you can bet they’ll be scrambling for the nearest couch or chair to avoid getting “burned.”
On a certain level, they TRULY believe that the floor is literally molten rock.
They can see the hot, glowing lava, burning everything its path…
…and they do everything to stay out of its way.
That’s the power the mind and imagination in action.
Learn how to see the world on this level again. That way, you can see a bright future before it happens – then go on to make it a reality.

#4: Keep on keepin’ on
One of the realities of this world is that you can’t eliminate adversity.
It’s always going to be an uphill climb at some point, especially when you’ve just taken on a new challenge.
You’ve been eating right and working out, but the pounds aren’t quite flying off as you’d hoped.
You started a side income project, but your cash flow hasn’t been anything more than a trickle.
You’ve tried beating your depression with exercise, therapy and medication, but the dark thoughts still charge at you like a freight train.
That’s called RESISTANCE.
It will always be there, even as you dig deep and do everything in your power to manifest the reality you want.
Being a grown-up means expecting those external circumstances to work against you.
Your best response? PUSH BACK.
Keep your inner world together, and the outside world will follow suit.
Dumbledore once told Harry Potter, “Help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it.”
Remember: the hero of the story is never a one-person army.
Harry had Hermione and Ron.
Luke had Obi-Wan and Yoda.
And you don’t have to fly solo in YOUR journey.
Think about the people in your inner circle – are they giving you the energy, motivation and inspiration to succeed?
If the company you keep sneers at growth and being better, maybe it’s time to look for other friends to round out your squad.
Seek people who lead by example and can show you how to overcome that resistance in your life.
Learn from them and let their enthusiasm rub off you.
While you’re at it, use technology to connect to like-minded folks who can help you in your quest. Open your phone or laptop and fire up YouTube, Vimeo or any other video streaming site.
TED talks, self-help lectures and tons of other empowering content are literally at your fingertips.
The Universe has too much abundance for you to ignore.
We’re part of a vast human network, and our collective energy affects everyone else in ways we can’t yet fully comprehend.
This network has always been around; the Internet merely accelerated it. Tap into it and unleash its power.
#5: Tune out your Negative Ned (or Nancy)
There’s always that voice in the back of your head that kicks in when life gets tough.
It loves whispering things in your ear, usually at the height of your frustration and despair:
- “You totally blew that one, why do you even bother trying?”
- “You had one job and you screwed it up like always…I’m not even surprised.”
- “Getting back on the horse, are we? I give it a week before you go back to your old ways. Better to quit while you’re ahead!”
- “You actually thought he was complimenting you? Oh, bless your heart…it’s called ‘small talk’ and ‘being nice’.”
If you’re like the rest of the human species, you’re going to run into those nasty folks called insecurity, self-doubt and fear.
They’re going to take up space in your head and try to drown you out with their noise.
Rumi, a 13th-century Persian poet and scholar, knew this well. It his poem “The Guest House”, he spoke an ancient truth about the human condition.
He likened all our thoughts and feelings – both good and bad – as visitors who stopped by the guest house of the soul.
And this line struck me the most:
“The dark thought, the shame, the malice. Meet them at the door laughing and invite them in.”
Once I understood what it meant, I realized that I didn’t have to resist it. I could simply let my obnoxious guests do their thing, and see them out.
It’s not about covering your ears and going, “La la la la! I can’t hear you!”
Acknowledging their existence in your head is NOT the same as letting them win.
The world’s greatest achievers go through bouts of darkness and anger like everyone else.
The main difference is that they use their failures as material for an instruction manual called “What NOT to Do and How to Do It Better The Next Time Around”.
#6: Ditch your story
You shouldn’t stop at managing your negative thoughts, however. You need to peel back another layer and go deeper.
Here’s the thing: you grew up on a set of beliefs, whether you’re aware of it or not.
Your parents, teachers, friends and pretty much everyone you knew growing up contributed to your programming.
You don’t know it, but you operate on this programming on a daily basis.
And it influences every decision you make – and how you choose to see the world.
Now this can be a good thing if you grew up around people who were positive, motivated and had a good outlook on life…
…but this is the real world we’re talking about, so NOT everyone had that kind of effect on you.
Somewhere along your journey, someone discouraged you in a subtle way, or put some sort of label that you can’t shake off.
Words like “Underachiever”, “Oddball”, “Loser”, “Nerd”, “Small Fry”, “Ugly Duckling” and “Black Sheep” come to mind…
…and each one is damaging in its own toxic way.
Sadly, most people carry this invisible weight their whole life.
But starting today, you can lay those bricks on the ground and walk away for good. You don’t have to carry that weight for anyone, especially not for THEM.
Stop living your story based on the false narrative that your negative programming created.
All those preconceived beliefs need to go if you want to attract happiness and prosperity in your life.
I’ve seen people achieve INCREDIBLE things – even the impossible – just by doing this one thing.
Lionel, a heroin addict from Michigan, was in and out of jail for the longest time.
But after overdosing within an inch of his life, he decided to ditch his old story.
Even after everyone gave up on Lionel and called him a “screw-up”, he turned it all around.
He let go of the labels that people had been putting on him for YEARS…
…and Lionel decided he didn’t have to be any of those things anymore.
Lionel created a NEW story for himself – one where he was finally free of his crippling addiction and lived a clean, sober life.
What kind of story do YOU want to live out?
#7: Make your affirmations “pop”
You might have heard of people making declarations about themselves to manifest them as truth, and not just as an opinion.
When you affirm some truth about yourself, it validates the awesomeness within you.
Words of kindness heal the soul and help forgive past failures.
In short, it’s about LOVING yourself.
After all, you can’t give what you don’t have.
However, saying “Boy I sure love myself!” doesn’t quite do the trick.
To make your affirmations stick in your subconscious, it needs to have a little something extra.
Don’t stop at “I love me!”- take it up another notch to really drive the point home.
- “I love myself so much that I want to use my gifts and share them with the world. I want to take this love inside me and use it to lift other people up.”
- “By sharing the love I have, I possess the power to change myself for the better, and the world around me.”
- “I am love, light, peace and prosperity. Anger, hate and scarcity have no power over me.”
- Aside from loving yourself, you can also infuse a dash of humor in your affirmations. Who says you have to be so grim with his Law of Attraction stuff, anyway?
When you add a bit of levity while you affirm yourself, it shushes your Negative Ned (or Nancy) into silence.
Try coming up with statements like these:
- “I’m so awesome that I kick mediocrity in its big fat butt!”
- “I’ve come here to be awesome at everything I do and kick major butt. And I’m all out of butts to kick.”
- “Did you say something, self-doubt? Sorry, I can’t hear you over the sound of my awesomeness!”
It’s all a matter of finding the right attitude and tone that suits you. Take a crack at making these affirmations, and you’ll soon find your true inner voice.
What matters is that you inject your affirmations with a serious amount of attitude, and above all, ENERGY.
Without that energy, you won’t give your messages enough “juice” to reach the Universe and show up on its radar.
Those who practice the Law of Attraction often combine these affirmations with their meditation sessions to hit two birds with one stone.
And the results are nothing short of phenomenal.

Fear is such a beautifully complex human mechanism which has a significant impact on our lives.
My aim is for us to understand fear to a point where we can control how fear affects us and not the other way around.
This resource will dive deep down into helping us understand what fear is at the core, and guide us on what we can to overcome this powerful force.
Are you ready for this? This article is 2500 words long… we are going in.
Fear is a feeling we get when we are uncertain of what lies ahead. More specifically, it is a feeling we get when we are uncertain of the negative consequences that may lie ahead:
Who are these people?
Will they like me?
What if they don’t like me?
What if they think I’m weird?
How will my speech turn out?
What if I mess up?
What if everyone judges me?
The uncertainty of what lies ahead takes us out of our comfort zone, which often encourages us to back out and avoid the scenario in order to not risk facing that negative event from potentially occurring and affecting us.
