I don't think it can be possible to avoid all stress. I don't think it is good to ignore an affair which needs to be addressed. You know your limitations. And in my opinion, you should stick to them. Doing so will help to say 'NO' to added responsibilities. You have to avoid the individuals who stressed you out. Making necessary adjustment in the attitude is the key to managing stressful situations. Also, adapting to the stressors and accepting them will reduce your stress level to a greater extent.
